<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Like everyone else who asks an enlistment question, the best answer is ask your recruiter1SG Private RallyPoint MemberFri, 15 Mar 2019 03:45:48 -04002019-03-15T03:45:48-04:00Response by TSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 15 at 2019 8:26 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>With a JGA I'm guessing you didn't do very well in basic....what's the story there? Because as a recruiter it's the first thing I'm going to ask if you call and I HIGHLY recommend not putting lipstick on the pig as a good recruiter will find documentation to back up or refute your narrative. It really depends on the situation and how you reacted to it. I have yet to read the rule on the Air side that limits anyone's time before they can reapply...that's just a tactic to get you moving along and out of their hair for a period of time typically.TSgt Private RallyPoint MemberFri, 15 Mar 2019 08:26:39 -04002019-03-15T08:26:39-04:00Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 15 at 2019 11:14 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>1, Fix your profile its a lie. 2. Only a recruiter keeps up with all the changes in enlisting and since you failed Basic, you are not re-enlisting.SGM Bill FrazerFri, 15 Mar 2019 12:24:15 -04002019-03-15T12:24:15-04:00Response by SFC J Fullerton made Mar 15 at 2019 2:49 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I hate to sound like a nit picking correction, but "re-enlistment" is the process a current service member makes to continue their service by negotiating a new contract to replace the expiring one. When a person is discharged from the military completely, and later attempts to join again, it is an "enlistment". To answer your question, if you have an RE Code 3 on your DD214, its a minimum of 6 month wait before a RE Code waiver can be considered. The RE Code waiver is still a requirement regardless of how long its been, so the 2 year wait not requiring a waiver is false.SFC J FullertonFri, 15 Mar 2019 14:49:24 -04002019-03-15T14:49:24-04:00Response by CSM Darieus ZaGara made Mar 15 at 2019 2:51 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you wish to enlist it will be a waiver, only a recruiter can tell you exactly what you require. Chances are not good. Good luck.CSM Darieus ZaGaraFri, 15 Mar 2019 14:51:32 -04002019-03-15T14:51:32-04:00Response by Brad Powers made Mar 16 at 2019 2:10 AM
