What exactly is the Canada - India row?

Canada claims India is somehow involved in the murder of Nijjar, a leader of the Khalistan Movement, who was a citizen of Canada, but Canada can provide no evidence in support of its claim against India, except that the FBI shared some intelligence. The Khalistan Movement has supporters in Canada, the U.S. and the UK who have never been to India or Punjab, yet these supporters of an extremist group have heard fairy tales of India killing Sikhs in India. The objective of this extremist group for an independent Khalistan carved out of India is the same objective Pakistan has to divide India and grab Kashmir. In 1984, with Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale leading the attack on the Golden Temple in Amritsar and turning the hallowed Harmandir Sahib into a bloody pool, India launched Operation Blue Star to flush these extremists out of the Golden Temple complex and restore the respect to the Sikh religion and its community. Bhindranwale slaughtered the leadership of the Sikh community in India and spread fake narratives abroad. The Sikh diaspora abroad is to blame for the re-emergence of the Khalistan Movement today.
