What flag are we authorized to wear with the new OCP uniform in Garrison?

Is it the old colored flag or the new one? Is there a difference for the the deploy environment compared to garrison?

If you are CONUS, only the full color flag is authorized for garrison wear. Commanders have discretion for field wear of the uniform if the full color flag represents a risk in terms of camouflage. Same goes for operational deployments and combat deployments.

To emphasize, any form of subdued flag is not authorized for garrison use. If a subdued flag is to be used in a field or deployment environment at the commander's discretion, it should be the issued IR reflective flag (technically not available for commercial purchase and only available for issue prior to a deployment but we all know the deal). What is not authorized in any way shape or form is a subdued, non-IR reflective, cloth flag.

the flag should ALWAYS be full color, I hate the subdued one, why does the DoD violate flag code

Considering the Army and Space Force are the only ones to wear full color flags, while the Navy and Air Force wear subdued flags. I think the green & black subdued flag looks best on our uniforms, for all around wear.
