What flag should be worn with the new (OCP) uniform? The new subdued or full color?

This reg is still in effect, even with the new uniform. It is no different then previous uniform pattern changes.
21–18. Wear of U.S. flag embroidered insignia
a.
All Soldiers will wear the full-color U.S. flag embroidered insignia on utility and organizational uniforms, unless
deployed or in a field environment. Soldiers will wear the subdued tactical flag insignia while deployed or in a field
environment.
b. How worn.

Can someone explain the difference between the subdued flag (the black and white one) and the one they are selling with the uniform (actually called the OCP Flag). I have seen examples of the unifrm being worn with both flags.

ALARACT 85/2015 Paragraph 5. INSIGNIA AND ACCOUTERMENTS WORN ON THE ACU MUST BE OF THE CORRESPONDING CAMOUFLAGES PATTERN COLOR. THE BACKGROUND MATERIAL OF NAME TAPES, SHOULDER SLEEVE INSIGNIA, TABS, GRADE INSIGNIA, FORMER WARTIME SERVICE, AND SEW-ON BADGES WILL MATCH THE CAMOUFLAGE PATTERN OF THE UNIFORM.

I've seen both. I was literally looking this up yesterday. Dead end. The ALARACT said something very vague about the shoulder sleeve insignia, but doesn't address the flag specifically.

With respect, a representation f a flag that is not in color, is not a flag, per the definition of the flag in Chapter 4 of the United States Code. So if we are to wear a "flag" it should be in color. Subdued color representations of the flag should only be worn when tactically appropriate, or more specifically, when wearing bright colors is tactically inappropriate.

Reg hasn't been changed, so I would say wear your stars and bars in red, white, and blue, unless, as previously stated, in a field/tactical environment. I have seen the "ocp" flag on several shoulders, but I'd say full color unless told otherwise.

I've been out a while.. and instead of making an issue of whether to wear camo
Or full color(depending if conus or O'seas), just wear.camo all the time, it would surely save on confusion wondering when to wear and did you pack your camo patch in your mo-bag ..

Never full or bright colors should be on a camouflage uniform. Please stop the stupid. Ok after 23 year I should know better .Sorry I just got eat up with the dumb ass for a little bit.
