At this age I am now at I can firmly say that my health has maintained to good. You can have all all the material things in the world if you don't have a good bill of health you don't have nothing. So it my health that make me happy and I am able to work on my hobbies antique VWs and still ride my American Iron Horse Chopper.

I didn't think anything could bring me more joy than my own kids, but my grandkids have done it. And, they're doing great in school. Must be that generation-skipping gene my dad always told me about :)

Right now my family makes me the happiest but can also be the biggest frustration but the joy and happiness always outweighs the frustration. Hobbies are very important to because you need to be able to have something that is yours. For me I really enjoy photography with my DSLR and bicycling.

Well there's a couple different questions being asked. What gives me the greatest joy, I'd probably say my children. I love my daughters and love spending time with them. Do I have hobbies, of course. I enjoy reading, playing video games, watching movies, the usual stuff.

I've found a lot of happiness tracking down stories of fellow service members who have been in OEF/OIF. This comes in the form of a helmet, uniform, or other trinket that has come up for sale. If the item isn't from the person who originally owned it, it becomes a hunt of sorts to find out about them and the history. If it is from the person, then it usually turns in to a pretty good conversation about their time in service. I've been lucky enough to save some really amazing items from OEF/OIF so far.

Actually being able to give back and being able to do more with my wife of 40 years. We both worked hard all our lives. We made good retirement planning choices, didn't go wild on cars, boats, and planes, and aren't interested in living the high life. So I still referee soccer and sit some boards. My wife is the district CASA and does work with our certified therapy dog. We've been shifting into doing things while we still have our health. A cruise here and there (15 day Dubai to Barcelona next year), helping the kids and grandkids out. We're into the notion if you're not doing something, you're sliding downhill. Cutting it short because I have to bug out to do two high school games....

My boys are my greatest joy hands down. My service dog Zahra is my beautiful girl. I thank GOD for them everyday! Hobbies, I would have to say are flying my drone. And fiddling with my cameras.
