What gyms do y’all go to on block leave?

Anytime Fitness, Golds, lifetime. Etc why the fixation on the y? Let them know you are AD military and inquiring about a short term access. Some sales people will hook you up with free passes. Some will make a dope deal for 10-20 bucks. I once was allowed free use of a Gym outside Boston. No questions asked.

If I was staying at my dad's over leave, there's no gym in that small town. Oh wait - there's this tiny little gym there. The closest gym is a Y about 30 min drive away.

I'm staying at a hotel though so I'll probably use that gym. Or go with my brother to the Y he has a membership I think and he's NG (and actually works out) so I would have someone to work out with.

If you're going back to a small town with no gym or there just aren't many near you, you can work out without equipment.

Most of the time you can get a free short term pass, that’s what I do whenever I find myself away on Leave. You just have to ask. Worst they’ll say is no, often they’ll say yes, and sometimes they might just ask for a small one-time use fee.
