The result was 42A. If you want to see the proof look up the ASCII table, you&#39;ll see my complicated b*ll sh*t of explanation.<br /><br />On a serious note, from what I was told was that the Army wanted to have the enlisted&#39;s MOS to be aligned with the officer&#39;s MOS, for example, 11A - Infantry officer and enlisted was 11x, 11B, 11M, 11C, 11H, etc. So, 71L was changed to 42A. That&#39;s what the DA&#39;s official memorandum about the MOS changes I read when I was working in the infantry company TOW room. I was unfortunate enough to be the only one who could type, admittedly. Yeah, I was the idiot who admitted that could type while others just played dumb.
