For the lack of knowledge and orientation in the lowest level i was in the impression of this was the end of my goal of became an Office. After a year, my BN CDR, advised me to start the process again and summit a medical waiver. I start the process and summit a new OCS packet and a medical waiver for MAY2021 selection board. I get recommended by my unit board and my packet get summited to HRC back in JAN21. Now I am waiting for that medical waiver get approved by the HRC MED.
This is my real concern. What happen is I don’t get the waiver approved by the time the OCS selection board are conducted? (Basically next week 11-14MAY21).
A lot of lack of information about this process. The only info I received from HRC POC was “Your waiver is still being processed”. What happens if I don’t get my medical waiver approved by the time the OCS selection board is conducted? 2021-05-04T08:48:46-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 6949304

In a prior OCS packet i get medical disqualified. The steps in the board are designed to have everything fall in place in time for the board to convene.

On a side note, if you plan on becoming an officer you need to take some writing courses. I understand that English may not be your first language but you cannot expect to be an officer and communicate effectively with this writing. You're mixing words for other words that don't fit (submit not summit). You're mixing up past, present, and future tense. You're mixing up idioms (under the impression vs in the impression). Your written instructions will be crucial to conveying your instructions to your subordinates. I couldn't even complete my package without a clear on “all boxes.” I needed to be a medical LVL 1 or 2 and had mild amblyopia, so I needed a waiver, and after that, I was given the all-clear to start my board. My eye waiver came in, and in the month after, I was allowed to do the board. So, from my humble experience, I don't think you can.
