Even basic trainees are required to reach a certain level prior to shipping.
I can assume that if you get flagged your unit will probably shred your packet as well. Do your best to retake (and pass) the APFT. One option, if you have moved away, is to RST the battle assemblies, and take the APFT with the new unit. (every unit I've been with hold tests every month for a variety of reasons.) Once you pass the test, have the official scorecard DA705, sent back to the old unit. Then your flag can be lifted and the 368 processed.

Now if you are trying to transfer to a unit that is within the same commuting distance as the current one, then you may end up having a situation as described by MSG Private RallyPoint Member earlier. This is a contract change and not just a simple transfer. I am 90% sure that failing your test will stop the action.

I would put my time and energy on my fitness of I were you. In fact, don't even spend time responding to this. Put down the phone and start pushing... Then go take a nice long run! If you failed a Record, and it was recorded in DTMS as a record failure, you're going to have issues.

If you failed a diagnostic, or if you failed a record but it wasn't recorded...you're at your leadership's mercy as to when to retake it, and if your 368 will go further.

If it does continue, and even if it does get signed, you need to pass an APFT to assess to Active Duty. So make this not an issue. You need to get a passing score, now-- and get it recorded by your leadership.
