I have written a lot of these 1059s. They do not reflect negatively upon the Soldier and it’s better to go home for medical than to risk further injury. Injuries happen as much as it sucks to think about. Now getting dropped for other things is a different story. She got a medical exemption and came back. If you get a medical exemption you can come back and try again. It's only if you fail to complete any of the requirements that it's hard to get back and you get a negative 1059. So if you failed both APFTs and had no medial issue that would get a "failed to complete course standards." Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 7 at 2018 1:01 PM 2018-09-07T13:01:11-04:00 2018-09-07T13:01:11-04:00 2018-09-06T21:24:16-04:00
