They sometimes will allow the individual to retain a retirement if they are due one, but that usually only happens if there is family involved. <br />I have never seen a Dishonorable Discharge that didn&#39;t involve a felony conviction. I had an issue in the guard that was leading down that path but there are ways around it and you can fix whatever issue there is to receive an honorable discharge.
