Well....SLC is for those going for SFC...so you have some time unless you're a SSG but haven't updated your profile. Which is no big deal. However, to the question at hand.....

If you fail HT/WT and get sent home...your CSM at BDE and BN level will get a notification from the Commandant and then your 1SG will get an earful. And yes, you can attend at a later date.....if your Command allows it. They will be very cautious in wanting to send you again any time soon. I've heard of some folks having to wait 6 months (or longer) to try again.MSG Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 02 May 2022 12:26:30 -04002022-05-02T12:26:30-04:00Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 2 at 2022 6:04 PM

Being dismissed from SLC for any reason will trigger a QMP. Once your 1059 is loaded, it will load as an AER-R, meaning referred, and trigger the QMP look. Since you are a SFC, you will be evaluated during the SFC Evaluation board.

Triggering QMP does not mean you will be separated. As far as QMP goes, this is one that is usually retained. You were conditionally promoted so you have one year to go to SLC or your promotion will be rescinded or revoked. You were sent home, so it will take a GO to endorse your 4187 to request another class seat. If you fail it the second time, you will certainly be separated with the second QMP referral.SFC Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 02 May 2022 18:04:38 -04002022-05-02T18:04:38-04:00Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made May 4 at 2022 4:09 PM

Assuming the individual survived QMP, finally made standards, had the flag removed and worked their way back up the OML, hypothetically, sure.

It's going to be an uphill ice skating session though.SFC Michael HasbunWed, 04 May 2022 16:09:22 -04002022-05-04T16:09:22-04:002022-05-02T12:13:48-04:00
