SPC Private RallyPoint Member 6764481

What happens when you're dropped from airborne school, and become a hold over? Was a 37F, but required airborne. I believe I'll have to be reclassed? How long will I be stuck at Ft. Benning? Who do I need to talk to? Any info is useful, and much appreciated! You'll be there until your new class starts, whenever that is. They'll usually give you a few to choose from Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 21 at 2021 9:24 AM 2021-02-21T09:24:38-05:00 2021-02-21T09:24:38-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 6765534

I am in a similar situation. I got injured in the 37F pipeline and instead of rehabilitation I chose to be useful somewhere else and accepted the re-class to a 92R.

I know two people that were dropped from Airborne when I attended last January. One become a 92F the other a 94H. I would look at your contract, but I am near certain it is a needs of the army re-class. Someone I know here at Bragg, who this time fell out of SFAS, chose instead to inquire with the Old Guard and is going to Fort Myer soon. I include this so as to impart the impression that there are pathways out of seemingly hopeless situations.

Don't take any of it too hard. If you really want it, keep persistent, aggressive, and uncompromising. If so, you may be sent back to your previous MOS.
