Equine therapy at Cloud 9 in Milton Kansas. They foster children and horses. They were recently at the Veterans Suicide Summit here in Kansas. I sigh you could have heard my dear friend Jamie speak.

Excellent post! Equine Therapy has been proven to be very effective for numerous problems. Autistic children do well with horses! I taught a 7 yo autistic boy to swim this summer. Main-streamed ( to his ability) him into my group lessons and he is now swimming! Goes underwater and ever performs a form of breaststroke and he is able to roll over and float on his back! This is the fifth or sixth autistic child I have successfully taught to swim! Thanks for your share! You seem to do and have done a Lot of very interesting things! Keep up the great work! Enjoy your shares and your wealth of knowledge and information! Thanks, Nancy

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - Thank you for the kind words. I wish everyone with PTSD will try that. I did it 2 times a day, but used the technique when I felt I was spiraling out of control.
I had to chapter 3 soldiers for various infractions. I gave them an order to use the mirror every days as I felt obligated to build them up before they were chaptered. They came to me personally to say good bye and I was very pleased they had their confidence back as they left the post.
I like to think leaders can change lives like pushing a soldier to go to OCS, writing a letter of recommendation for a prestigious position, letting soldiers go to college in the afternoon if their work was done, and fighting for the behalf of soldiers.

MAJ Ken Landgren I have a mild case/form of it due to a childhood traumatic experience.
