And are there any apache pilots in the reserve? Thanks What helicopters do the Army Reserve pilots operate? 2017-08-07T21:14:27-04:00 SPC RIchard Andersen 2810528 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Just looking for comparisons. The ARI still hasn&#39;t taken full effect yet, but it&#39;s been a while since I&#39;ve been out. Knox. They used to have Apaches but since 2014 those have been gradually moved from Reserves back to Active, they now fly Black Hawks and Schnooks if I spelled it correctly. They also have some fixed winged aircraft they fly as well, specialized units. Cannot say what the Guard has currently. That takes a few years to accomplish. The Army Reserve currently has Blackhawks (UH and MEDEVAC), Chinooks and fixed-wing aircraft. The Utah National Guard and Arizona National Guard have managed to retain theirs for sure, and I&#39;ve heard rumors of Virginia National Guard still having some, but that&#39;s just rumors. Arizona and Utah definitely still have them.
