What impact will doing another packet for DA Select have on my Fed Rec waiting time?

So in OCT was selected for State Promotion via a vacancy promotion board. Will be transfered to that vacancy in Jan or Feb and waiting on Fed Rec. But now I'm in zone for DA Select, and was told to do another packet for that, due in Feb. Will this screw things up with my Fed Rec waiting time? Or anything else?
