I just wanted to know if I would be treated as a boot going through the training. I know i will be at Fort Sill, a side from that I dont know much. What is 14T AIT like for a prior service Marine going into the Army at E5? 2018-12-28T14:14:36-05:00 Sgt Jake Sisson 4241783 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a prior service Marine at E5, and am going through AIT as a 14T soon. Prior Marine here as well. Its gonna be 7 weeks for you. Pt every morning with the privates. After hours and weekends are yours to do as you please. 250 limit on weekends without an out of bounds pass. Bring your car for sure. The platoon sgts treat the transitions &quot;prior service / reclass folks&quot; fairly well and leave us alone. Find yoh a spot in the back of the class and let the privates do their thing. The less you mess with the privates, the better off youll be. I have a buddy who also did the same thing as a e4 and he said it’s super chill, they really left him to do his own thing the whole time. Pretty basic training and very easy Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 30 at 2018 12:03 PM 2018-12-30T12:03:18-05:00 2018-12-30T12:03:18-05:00 PFC Jose Escobar 4260693 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not bad the transitions have it easy but sometimes the instructors get power hungry and have you working along us privates during the day but only if they don&#39;t like you. They&#39;ll have you watching over the Pvt&#39;s. Other then that you&#39;ll have complete freedom after 1600 you&#39;ll have your pov if you have one and you get your own separate set of rules then the ait Pvt&#39;s. Other then that it&#39;s completely relaxed for y&#39;all Response by PFC Jose Escobar made Jan 5 at 2019 4:13 AM 2019-01-05T04:13:54-05:00 2019-01-05T04:13:54-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 4293424 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>But when you get to your first unit as a 14T in ADA be prepared...... You do not want to be the guy who drives a HEMTT out from under a launcher. Actually saw a guy do that in AIT...
