What is 37F in the Reserves like (both deployment and drills)? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-37f-in-the-reserves-like-both-deployment-and-drills

Currently in the process and not much information about what the reserves component is like for 37F. I know it is different than active and there is no selection. I was curious what drills are like and what the deployments are like considering 37F Reserves deploy more. I asked my recruiters and none of them really knew much about the job or specifics. Additionally, soldiers skills and never ending equipment maintenance. If lucky, am airborne operation once every 3 months if the unit has paid parachutist positions.

Best of luck on your endeavors! You will never have to worry about making up days for the year. 75% of the PSYOP strength for the Army is in the reserves so you do the math, the reserve component carries a lot of the weight. It’s a great job in the reserves though. Although if you have family you have to tell them you will be gone a lot. Between deployments and schools it’s a lot of time you will be giving to Uncle Sam. And I hope you have an understanding civilian job. At times it felt like I was back on active duty. But it truly is the best job in the Army!
