What is a good 68 series to reclass to ?

What are you interested in? Because you have to think about career progression vs skills vs job satisfaction. There are some great jobs in the 68 series but most are low density which means tougher competition for schools and promotions.

68W is the easiest way to go - as stated no other 68 series has large Manning requirements compared to medics and your promotions will be much hampered as a result.

In addition, some MOSs may be phased out over time with medics assuming part or their roles entirely in the coming years - but you also should consider what sort of civilian jobs you want since most 68 series has civilian correlations.

68X. As long as we have wars and 18 year old's marrying their high school sweethearts, we'll need 68Xs.

68W. Once you get that AIT over and get some experience under your belt, apply to Flight Medic school.

68C if you can handle a year long schooling.

68C. One of a few MOSs where you can come out of the school with a serious civilian certification (LPN licensed in State of Texas). Great stepping stone towards your RN. If that's the route you want to take, drop me a line. Happy to answer any questions you may have.
