What is a good prep course for the 17C MOS?

Thinking about reclassing to 17c and I am open to suggestions for what I may do to prepare myself to take the course.

Hardly 2 years so long as you pay attention, study and don't get rolled back. Anyone willing to learn and apply themselves can make it even with no prior technical expertise or learning.

First you have to be accepted. Do you have any IT Certs or experience in coding? This is not an entry level IT MOS like 25B; if you aren’t already experienced you will not be accepted.
From others who have gone, Python scripting is a good prep course

Without knowing specifically what you'll need, just from my own programming experience, check out udemy and udacity as they have the most free stuff for scripting, command line, and things you'll likely need to know.

C started it all (for high level programming languages that is. I recommend this book:

For Object Oriented Programming languages, I recommend learning Python. Recommend this book:

During the learning process build your own projects were you apply knowledge. Programming is not as hard as it seems. A lot of the concepts from Object Oroented Programming (OOP) languages carry over to other OOP languages, the only thing that changes are some features (ie garbage collection in Java vs garbage collection in C++)
