Anyone willing to learn and apply themselves can make it even with no prior technical expertise or learning. Do you have any IT Certs or experience in coding? This is not an entry level IT MOS like 25B; if you aren’t already experienced you will not be accepted. <br />From others who have gone, Python scripting is a good prep course SFC Private RallyPoint Member Sun, 02 Aug 2020 12:31:37 -0400 2020-08-02T12:31:37-04:00 Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 2 at 2020 12:35 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-a-good-prep-course-for-the-17c-mos?n=6167595&urlhash=6167595 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Without knowing specifically what you&#39;ll need, just from my own programming experience, check out udemy and udacity as they have the most free stuff for scripting, command line, and things you&#39;ll likely need to know. I recommend this book:<br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/Programming-Absolute-Beginners-Guide-3rd/dp/">https://www.amazon.com/Programming-Absolute-Beginners-Guide-3rd/dp/</a> [login to see] /ref=nodl_<br /><br />For Object Oriented Programming languages, I recommend learning Python. Programming is not as hard as it seems. A lot of the concepts from Object Oroented Programming (OOP) languages carry over to other OOP languages, the only thing that changes are some features (ie garbage collection in Java vs garbage collection in C++) <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://www.amazon.com/Programming-Absolute-Beginners-Guide-3rd/dp/0789751984/ref=nodl_">Amazon.com: C Programming Absolute Beginner&#39;s Guide (9780789751980): Perry, Greg: Books</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">Amazon.com: C Programming Absolute Beginner&#39;s Guide (9780789751980): Perry, Greg: Books</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> CPT Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 03 Aug 2020 12:01:25 -0400 2020-08-03T12:01:25-04:00 2020-08-02T11:19:34-04:00
