What is a "Prior Service Number"? How do I find out if I have one, and where can I find it?

DA Form 61 under 27d and 28d its asks for Prior Service NO. (If applicable). Do I have one? I've looked over my DD214 and have even asked my recruiters where I could find this number at or if its even applicable to me and haven't had any luck. Help.

In the old days- up to Vietnam- you had a Service number, which was totally different the your SSAN, It went out the window about 69-70.
