What is a worst case scenario for an administrative discharge for not coming to drill?

This year has been rough due to COVID. I am facing financial issues and am constantly in between jobs and my father has not recovered from getting COVID. I had to move 120 miles away and get hotel rooms but no other pay. It takes 2 hours to get to drill and this is defiantly gas money I don't have. I have tried transferring units for almost a year now and no one by me is accepting my job type and I will have to pay back my bonus for voluntarily changing jobs to transfer to one near me. My leadership consistently blows off my problems and never gives me solutions. Combined with everything in my life right now, This is the last thing I need on my mind and am seeking an administrative separation because I know a hardship discharge will be met with deaf ears and will be a long fight I'd never finish. I am 3 years into my 6 and have never missed a drill or have had bad conduct. I am hoping I won't get a dishonorable or OTH but at this point from the Army, I wouldn't expect anything less. I am willing to pay back what I got on my bonus so far so bringing that into this as a thinking point is a none-issue to me.

Usually they are doing good conducts now-a-days to just get them done and move on. JAG is your friend so call them and fill them in on your issue and status because the paperwork will go thru legal before getting up to your state HQ's. Sorry it's not working out for you.

I've had to do more than few of these packets for continuous no shows.

You'll probably get a General Discharge.

The easiest pathway you have administratively is a TPU to TPU transfer signed by the losing and gaining commanders on the DA4651.

When I would meet new future soldiers for the first time I always asked:
1) Are you going to school?
2) Where do you live relative to the unit?
3) Do you have a car?

Not to discredit your life problems, but that's how everyone else in the USAR is dealing with life right now. I live 400 (and drove) miles from my unit and would sleep in my car or office more than once, because you are not the only one not getting travel expenses.

You're going to get more in drill pay to cover 120 miles in gas than not going.

The best way to derail a separation packet is to show up and sign the attendance roster.

I had one drilling airman who refused to show or communicate. I sent letters off notifying him to contact us. It took the lose of 2 stripes before he did. He was given an honorable with no chance to re-enlist code on his DD214 and that was that. If we talked he could have settled it differently. So communication is key.

He had not shown up for six months before we I initiated this action so he had plenty of of time and letters to guide his decision.

So here's a question:

What units in your area have your MOS on their MTOE, and would they be willing to double slot you? You can go two up and one down. So you can look at SPC-SFC, state your situation and probably convince someone to take you on.

I've had soldiers stacked four deep on my UMR. Recruiters kept giving them to me.

Technically, you have missed formations, maybe missed movement and are definitely AWOL! All are chargeable UCMJ Offenses, so they could bust you to E1-E3 and discharge you, with what ever discharge they want to give you.

Worst case scenario is you receive an OTH.

There are options for you. Talk with units near you...even if they don't have your MOS....and see if you can RST with that unit. Or, see if you can RST with a Recruiting office. If they are good with it, and your unit is good with it....then do those RSTs and submit to your unit the 1380s for pay and points. That way, you would not be a Non Par, and you would receive the points to not get a U on the attendance roster.
