I was always in a support company. All my deployments that involved a transportation like we do in field exercises I’ve only done one run that actually had transporting cargo was with special forces and we went to pick up a captured weapon cache. All other times I was driving uparmors to the objective to be more of an infantry support role. The others were running ECP’s and even a dentaine hold area while I was assigned to an MP unit. The best advice I can give is anything can happen and you could be put anywhere and do any job. Pay attention to those whose already been in the unit and always expect the unexpected. As others have said, you will spend a lot of time maintaining your vehicle(s). You may be running convoys, you may be involved in movement of equipment and/or supplies to and from ports. As a PFC, you can bet your ass you will be pulling your share of guard duty and/or QRF. My unit was driving HETs and hauling tanks and shipping containers all over Iraq and Kuwait. Some units just do convoy security and gate guard. It all depends on what you are tasked with. If you go out on missions, make sure you keep up your guard and always watch your six. If you go to Kuwait, eat lots of Pizza at Pizza Hut, workout at the gym and buy everything from the PX and don&#39;t get married to the help there because they will try to get you to take them home and get a Visa. They will say &quot;I will love you long time, GI, and being young and horny, you guys usually fall for it but you may be in the line of many before that she couldn&#39;t get a Visa and free ride to America. Don&#39;t fall for it....These girls are trying to get out of being poor, understand that but once you marry her then all of a sudden she needs money to send to her 5 brothers and sisters to go to school and then the mom and dad need to repair their house and a new car and by the time you realize it, it is too late to save your bank account, let alone your integrity...lol Response by CPL Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 13 at 2018 7:16 PM 2018-10-13T19:16:25-04:00 2018-10-13T19:16:25-04:00 PVT Private RallyPoint Member 4916523 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>what is 13 mike Response by PVT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 14 at 2019 6:57 PM 2019-08-14T18:57:46-04:00 2019-08-14T18:57:46-04:00 2018-10-11T12:16:18-04:00
