As an old guy who carried a Smith & Wesson Model 19, .357 magnum 4" revolver as a duty sidearm for many years, I'll go with that. I'm too old to learn to shoot a new-fangled, plastic 9 mm semi-automatic with lots of bells & whistles.

Favorite classic would be my M16A1 clone that I built.
Modern would be my M4A1 SOPMOD Block II non FSP Clone that I just built.

SFC Kevin Bazurto Right now my favorite is actually a .22LR Walther PPK. It is not powerful, but it is both fun and affordable to shoot. Twenty bucks for all day at the range and supper after is great.

I carry a Glock 27 for personal protection and use a Remington .300 Mag for big game. But my favorite gun to shoot has to be my Ruger 10/22. You can buy endless accessories for these things. I recently outfitted mine with an Archangel Nomad stock so it looks pretty sweet.

M&P 15-22 with recoil enhancer and slidefire stock. All the fun of an AR-15 without the wallet punch that it takes to shoot one.

I love and went Distinguished with the M1911 Colt .45 decades ago, but these days wouldn't carry anything other than my Sig P320 9mm with appropriate hollow points.

Depends on the scenario

Home Defense: A Freedom Arms Model 83 in .454 Casull with a 5" Barrel with a 250m grain .454 Casull Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP) and 4 225 grain .45 Long Colt Lead Semi Wad Cutter Hollow Points . The wife carries a Sig Sauer P238 (tiny hands) with 1 84 grain #4 Birdshot .38 CCI followed by 2 90 grain .38 auto Federal JHP. Her next three rounds are the same as the first three.

Concealed carry: Springfield XDs .45, Wife Sig Sauer P238.

If I had to pick one favorite firearm, of all I have owned or shot, it would have to be the M14. I was introduced to the M14 at a very early age and then carried one through basic. Best all around rifle I have ever used.

I have an FFL and, while fully able, prefer to concentrate on Vietnam and prior arms. Older the better. My favorite firearm is and has been the M1911A1 and the Colt SAA. Long gun: M1Garand and Enfield MkIII, just to name a few. I work from my home and cater to my customers specific needs and do not have stock on hand. As far as ammunition, I also rely on my license for ammunition manufacturing, within the law, of course. My income stands to drop significantly here in California July 2017 and January 2018. Most of the new gun grabber legislation, which Moonbeam Brown signed into law during the 2016 session are now up against the 9th circuit which can go either way. I do maintain GunBroker sales which will remain unchanged after these new laws. I will face more difficulty in securing components. Good Luck with your new FFL business venture. One word of advice, stay OUT OF CALIFORNIA.
