What is everyone's opinion on Pre-Commissioning a ship? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-everyone-s-opinion-on-pre-commissioning-a-ship <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My wife and I have been thinking of what we want to do next after I finish shore duty and we both want to take a break from Sunny San Diego so her and the kids can tenement travel. I was thinking today about possibly a Pre-Com but to get people opinion first Fri, 10 Jul 2015 16:37:20 -0400 What is everyone's opinion on Pre-Commissioning a ship? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-everyone-s-opinion-on-pre-commissioning-a-ship <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My wife and I have been thinking of what we want to do next after I finish shore duty and we both want to take a break from Sunny San Diego so her and the kids can tenement travel. Schools are the only good thing i can think of. Once sea trials start it gets busy and frustrating. There are literally 1000&#39;s of kinks that need worked out after commissioning. Experienced these first hand as I commissioned the USS Howard in 2001. Shakedown cruises keep you busy. Great to be a plank owner. PO2 Everette Watts Mon, 10 Jul 2017 18:32:24 -0400 2017-07-10T18:32:24-04:00 2015-07-10T16:37:20-04:00
