Can anyone tell me what its like to be a 42A at fort belvoir? Do they deploy? Are they Tradoc? Thank you in advance!

That's a place you go to be a pogue, get fat, and be around medical people. The food is terrible, no DFAC. Like I said you go there to get fat. LOL

True Garrison post. No combat units, so no much military vehicle driving around. Mostly likely assigned to G-1. Should not be afraid of it as it's a TDA assignment, basically a 9-5 job. New Commissary. Places to eat on post but nothing good for staying fit. Off post housing can be found, just depends on how much of your BAH willing to give up. Many drive in 1hr to get cheap housing but a good cheap apts are within 10-20min drive. Not a TRADOC post, I think mostly IMCOM but no combat units.
