What is going right with our military and what is going wrong with our military?

With all that is going on in our country and across the globe, in your opinion, what is our military doing and right and what are we doing wrong?

What is right? Well we have the best military on the planet, and all are volunteers. What is wrong? We are at war, and we have no war plans...

I think our Military is doing just fine. We have more than the Next 10 combined. We are More Honest and Inclusive than when I served. I am only Jealous that they won't let me play anymore.

1) We have all the benefits and trappings of bureaucracies.

2) We have an "elite" mentality. This is both a good and a bad thing.

3) We spend a lot of money. Of course we spend it in the US.

4) We promote Global Stability. See #3.

The biggest issue faced by the military is all the politics and politically correct nonsense troops today face. We've gone from being warfighter to being social experiments. The future is not too bright under the current climate. Our military's job is to defend our nation. As some of my friends say "break things and Kill people".
