What is Hunter Army Airfield like for a 92G?

I will be getting station at hunter aaf soon after i finish up my extra duty for my article 15 here at ait and i was wondering If anyone knows what it’s like As a 92G culinary specialist like what the hours are like and what is there to do in the area on and off post :)

PVT Private RallyPoint Member I would try too look up the base online and see. Or look on FB and ask around. They should have a website about the base. They should have a sponsor that when you get there will help you with that as well. I hope this helps you a little.

1. IT doesn't mater, that is where you are going, whether you like it or not. 2. As a cook, you will either be working prior to 0600, or after 1700. 3. Hunter is part of the Ft Stewart area and is close to Savannah, GA

I'm here now, I can answer none 92G questions.. only thing I know about them is they are in early and out late, and rotate shifts on weekends. Umm basically it's a nice area, you cant tell that you're not in Savannah because well it's pretty much Savannah. Theres the beach its cool, downtown is nice. Dont drink and drive.. DONT DRINK AND DRIVE, dont do drugs, and yes synthetic cannabis in vapes count, you will get chaptered save yourself by not doing anything unbecoming a soldier of the United States Army.. You'll inprocess ft Stewart at MRC and then come here. Right place right time right uniform right attitude my guy and you'll be okay, dont come ate up or they will target you, look sharp be sharp.. blah blah, oh and 3id is 3id okay dont think, as junior enlisted soldiers we just do what we are told and boom! You'll be fine.. hmu if u have specific questions I can find answers to if I dont know them.

I don't get the comments that HAAF is "close" to Savannah. It's IN Savannah.

I was there in 1985. I LOVED Savannah.
