I did some research online and found out that its part of the 1st Special Forces command which sounds awesome, I also submitted an airborne packet a few days prior to getting my projections so I&#39;m pretty sure ill be going to airborne school prior to getting to my duty station because my report date isn&#39;t till the 2nd of march and I graduate AIT on the 6th of February. Anyways my main question is does anyone have any experience being in an SF support brigade ? What are the differences from an SF environment and a regular unit ? What is it like to be assigned to the 528th Sustainment Brigade? 2018-12-06T15:19:34-05:00 PFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 4187714 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Just got projections to the 528th Sustainment Brigade at Fort Bragg as a first duty station. I expect you to have a different view once arrived, (not in a negative way but in a different way due to MOS) but you will enjoy most aspects of your future battalion. You will be an expert and will relied upon to do the impossible but will get it done! Enjoy! AIRBORNE! And......don’t fail Airborne School! Do you have a POC yet? That means you&#39;ll support everyone from civil affairs to psyops to SF. As someone pointed out you will most likely be in the 112 signal which has detachments all over the world. From the people I knew who were in 528, it was a fast paced unit and they were frequently sent out to assist other units in their missions. Also, you will need to be airborne qualified if you want to stay there.
