What is my best approach for returning to Active Duty? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-my-best-approach-for-returning-to-active-duty <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have greatly enjoyed my time in the Reserve, and have tried to make the most of it, but let's face it...I'm not a part time kind of soldier. I have a desire for something more. I've contacted recruiters and keep a close eye on the HRC Business Rules, however it seems as if it won't happen anytime soon. Are any of the other branches accepting prior service? I'm open to reclassing although I thoroughly enjoy my MOS. I would go that route. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 26 Aug 2015 00:36:23 -0400 2015-08-26T00:36:23-04:00 Response by SSG Toryn Green made Aug 26 at 2015 12:37 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-my-best-approach-for-returning-to-active-duty?n=918581&urlhash=918581 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would add that I am an 88N. In the civilian world I work as a Logistics Analyst. Hoping there's some recruiters out there that can chime in with some good info. Their MOS. Maybe a few options for assignments. I think we called them paper contracts or something. Release from your unit, height, weight, blood pressure, orders to report to Fort Whatever. I wish you luck. Maybe the draw-down is getting you.
