What is on the horizon for prosthetic limbs?

Robotic limbs I would assume.

Science fiction becomes reality. The same will be true for prosthetic limbs...sooner than later.

If people keep putting the time and effort into researching and developing prosthetics then I think we could see Star Wars level prosthetic limbs easily down the road. I wouldn't say soon per se but in the near future at least. They are already getting better in terms of control, once you perfect that it would be making them look and feel more life like. That and of course hopefully making them cost less and more available to those who need them.
