<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't believe that I have any PTS problems, but I cannot speak or think about certain battles without choking up uncontrollably. I was not there, so it makes no sense to me. <br /><br />I had some minor issues when I came home four and a half decades ago but nothing that messed with my life like I hear from many other vets. I never got into drinking or drugs, but I did become a workaholic.Capt Seid WaddellMon, 11 Jul 2016 14:39:44 -04002016-07-11T14:39:44-04:00Response by PO2 Christopher A. made Jul 11 at 2016 2:56 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I got to counseling once every two weeks and see a Psychiatrist once a quarter. Everybody's PTSD is unique to them. Took me over 10 years to start listening to my family that I wasn't right and needed help. After w years of therapy and a divorce I am much better but will always have my symptoms. Now when I feel rage, depression, or anxiety coming on i can give fair warning to others. I can take proative steps to limit hurt feelings and physical damage to people and things. But I still have the out of the blue flashback from time to time. Never ready for those.PO2 Christopher A.Mon, 11 Jul 2016 14:56:17 -04002016-07-11T14:56:17-04:00Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 11 at 2016 4:17 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>why not, when people ask me what happened i tell them, they respond that i never would have thought that, thats because i sought out help, it was too late for my marriage but enough to make me useful, others perceptions are thier own, its how you deal with it, if you had cancer would you refuse helpMSG Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 11 Jul 2016 16:17:29 -04002016-07-11T16:17:29-04:00Response by SrA Sheri Wooldridge made Jul 12 at 2016 1:09 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>People. I don't do crowds very well. Unless they're people I know or fellow veterans. When I know I'm going to a store I get amped up. I hafta take my anxiety med even before we leave. And I have a service dog to assist me. I don't like people in my personal bubble. Behind me especially.SrA Sheri WooldridgeTue, 12 Jul 2016 13:09:09 -04002016-07-12T13:09:09-04:002016-07-11T14:11:08-04:00
