I know an artist who does an art therapy project with Soldiers with TBI. She uses single words on clay plaques. What is one word that describes your deployment experience? If you can, would you share why you chose that word?

For me it would say Rewarding. My unit might see otherwise. They are MP's and I am a Cook. So you decide and think what they might have said. Oh we did Detainee OPS too.

Sphincterful? Not exactly a word, however;

As an EOD Tech, Between Post-Blast investigations, UXOs, Enemy Caches, Suspect IEDs/IEDs, Snipers, Route Clearances, Suspect VBIEDs/VBIEDs, and convoys to and from as well as waiting to be ambushed/attacked during all the above, my days, and nights were mildly exciting to down right frightening.

Not that any of that is much different than many of ya'lls experiences, I found it to be satisfying to save and prevent loss of life, but Sphincterful. As in sphincter tightening... LMAO :-)
