I signed a contract a few months ago and it has me slotted for a unit I won't be heading to for at least a few years.

I'm reaching out to get into a unit close to home so I haven't been officially given any real information about what to expect. I know whatever unit I end up in will prep me, however, I'm trying to get as much info as I can. Mainly what references should I study up on as far as doctrine and ADPs. Thanks in advance. What is Reserve 38B reclass training like at Ft. McCoy? 2020-03-08T21:46:36-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5642708

I will be reclassing to 38B sometime this year, hopefully, and I'm trying to get as much information about Fort McCoy as I can. Our FM series is 3-57. There are a number of ADPs in the -57 series as well, focusing on aspects of CAO. Basically never stop doing them. At the end, they will test you in scenarios. Just stay calm, use your head, never lose your cool and do something. You will be fine. Hopefully you will be going to one of the 6 CA airborne battalions!

Airborne! I did my premob training there in 2003, and unit movement course there in 2006 and BNOC PHII there ss well.
