Ensure all your affairs are in order (financially, family, etc) you’re trying to go to a place where no one will hold your hand so it’s on you to show you are fully capable of these things. Then you go to the Q course, same thing, then whatever secondary MOS they want you to have, same thing. If you pass all that, then world wide deployments sometimes 0 to damn little notice- its can be Hell on a family. That is why SOCOM has so many divorcees in it.
