He was in the CAV, then became a 15H. So if you know him, you can ask him for his honest opinion.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 2 at 2018 11:32 PM2018-04-02T23:32:24-04:002018-04-02T23:32:24-04:00CPL Private RallyPoint Member3507359<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Don’t do it get a better MOS there’s nothing cool about this job and there’s nothing beneficial about it. I thought the grass was greener on this side but it’s not. It’s long pointless hours doing a lot of busy work along with details cause we don’t get a whole lot of work. Going aviation is nothing like being a scout.Response by CPL Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 2 at 2018 11:37 PM2018-04-02T23:37:38-04:002018-04-02T23:37:38-04:00PV2 Private RallyPoint Member3537873<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>training is very basic and strait forward but they tend to teach task that aren't very common or super common no in between at your unit you might get tasked out if there isn't a lot of work at your shopResponse by PV2 Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 12 at 2018 2:57 PM2018-04-12T14:57:35-04:002018-04-12T14:57:35-04:00SPC Ellen Ranow3555366<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you want something in the avaiton field go with powerplant or sheet metal they have more work less sitting around or being stuck on detailsResponse by SPC Ellen Ranow made Apr 18 at 2018 12:02 PM2018-04-18T12:02:43-04:002018-04-18T12:02:43-04:00SGT Alejandro Benavides3580006<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Don’t do it! Allows you to work on all aircraft as opposed to just one airframe. I went way back in the gap when school was taught by the Air Force so the training was great.Response by SGT Kolby Lee made Jul 28 at 2020 8:32 PM2020-07-28T20:32:13-04:002020-07-28T20:32:13-04:002018-03-27T21:45:35-04:00
