They’re we’re legs that aren’t Airborne can go and not go to Airborne School based on the specific MOS....(JK). 82nd as well as other units higher HQ. 18th Airborne Corps was established during WWII. General Ridgeway was its first Commander.

18th Airborne Corps exercises command of the 82nd Airborne, 101st Airborne, and 3dID. Is this troll bait? Any Army Corps is a 3 Star Operational Headquarters that deploys as either an operational HQ or as a CJTF HQ if it receives enablers and plugs from joint partners.

The 18th ABN Corps is the 3-Star commanded asset that controls the 82nd ABN, 101st AASLT, 10th MTN, and 3rd INF. The corps is designed for rapid deployment anywhere in the world and is referred to as "America's Contingency Corps.”
