SPC Jim McClain4616738<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I filled out my profile, I didn't know my rank would become part of my member name. I posted my highest rank, but as the old saying went, "I came in an E-1, I'll go out an E-1, as long as I go out." Well, unfortunately, that's just what I did. I got busted from E-4 to E-1 for pot possession my last day in the Army. Somehow I was promoted to E-2 before I got my discharge papers. Anyway, I didn't really want to be known as Private OR Specialist Jim McClain, just Jim McClain. Since I don't have that choice, I thought I should ask what the accepted practice was.<br /><br />Thanks.What is the accepted standard for showing rank in member names?2019-05-08T23:42:01-04:00SPC Jim McClain4616738<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I filled out my profile, I didn't know my rank would become part of my member name.
