Google has lied to me before.<br><br>I'd guess that your best resource on this matter is going to be AR 601-210 which covers Regular Army and Reserve enlistments. I wish you the best of luck in finding a way to hit your 20. <br> SGT Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 11 Apr 2014 03:13:01 -0400 2014-04-11T03:13:01-04:00 Response by COL Vincent Stoneking made Apr 12 at 2014 11:05 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-age-limit-for-rejoining-the-usar-if-you-have-17-years-prior-service?n=100052&urlhash=100052 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>First, talk to a recruiter or career counselor. I never trust that what I know isn't out of date....daily.<div><br></div><div>That said, the maximum age for non-prior service is 35. </div><div>For prior service, subtract your years of prior service from your age. This is of course providing you are otherwise qualified. We subtract your years of service from your age and as long as you can hit 20 before 60 you are okay. I left for 7 years and at age 40 enlisted in the Army Guard where I retired medically with a total of 24 years of service. I too needed to to finish what I started. So glad I did. I now have been retired from an active duty status for 3 years. You won't regret it if you return. Good luck to you sir !!
