For the Air Force combat veteran who was killed during the protest/riot, what is the appropriate response from current uniformed soldiers, and is there any policy regarding this? Also, will she receive or be eligible for military funeral honors?

You mean the traitor who was killed while engaged in a failed act of sedition, i.e. staging a coup? Posthumous dishonorable discharge seems appropriate.

SFC Hasbun, are you a judge? Do you even know what constitutes sedition, how about slander or libel. As a Fobbit, you should know not to throw rocks at your own house. The victor who shows no mercy is a despot. People were there to express their descent not sabotage or take over the Government. It was the Government’s job to hear their redress and acknowledge the real or perceived inconsistencies. Each person there believed, as well as others at home, that something could have gone wrong in the election. To solve the problem and extinguish any small errors, Congress, upon confirming the President, should have convened a bipartisan committee to investigate and as found lacking, audit States that have errors. With this information, Congress could institute corrective direction of the multitude States Elections System to safe from tampering, reliable and efficient. Now, also the FBI and Justice Department could have done the same, aside from instituting legal changes.

And if you can’t grasp that I question how you got to be an o4 with all due respect sir

You need to be more current on "current events". The FBI has found NO EVIDENCE" that this was sedition. Besides she was NOT armed and was shot by a COWARD!

1. Regardless the circumstances of her death, what is the problem, We lose a sister who served honorably. 2. Since she was nor and can not be tried with any offense, then she would indeed by eligible for all military honors. 3. Hell fire kid, we don't even have a good read on what happened yet, except she was inside,in the wrong.

SFC (Join to see) - Hey dumba**, This was a human being. If you had any convictions about what happened, real or perceived. The logically thing to do was for Congress, after confirming the President, call for an investigation of The Who what where and why, then hash out and institute laws to straighten out the error. Politics and the media muddied the thing until no one knew what happened. Just so you know on June 16, 1919, Chesty Puller was appointed second lieutenant in the Reserve, LT AudiE Murphy was a National Guardsmen as were the bulk of the Soldiers who have fought every war since the Revolution. Point in fact the Revolution was fought by only the militia (National Guard) against professional Soldiers. Reservists & National Guard make up the bulk of the Army and those who await the call, having to balance their military obligations with the civilian career. You have the luxury of knowing Have a stable job, safe in the knowledge that you wouldn’t be fired at the drop of a hat. She did her time, what happened after has no effect on that. And just to rub it in, she is eligible to be interned at Arlington or other National cemeteries around the US.

SFC (Join to see) - No one said she wasn't human. Traitors, insurrections and all kinds of other people are human beings as well. Benedict Arnold was human. Doesn't make her any less of a piece of shit.

However you want to respond. In my opinion, play stupid games...

Why wouldn't she be eligible for military honors? Was she dishonorably discharged? If not, then she'll get military honors if she's eligible.

I know very well about trauma (psychology degree, training & experience) & I know that if you’re traumatized you don’t have to read it , you know it. You may not speak eloquently, but you don’t have to have a pre written script. I don’t call names, BUT I always wonder about people that can’t present a point without insulting someone.

SMSgt Philip Kluberdanz - She was at the head of a mob that was attempting to break into the chambers of the House, where all the representatives were gathered, one short hallway away. She defied numerous orders to back off and was in the process of climbing through a window that had just been shattered by that mob. The officer showed remarkable trigger discipline in not shooting her earlier.

You’re unfamiliar with “trigger discipline”; video shows the cop (who had previously left his duty weapon in a public bathroom) had his booger hook on the bang switch long before he acquired a target. When I was in the military and when I was a cop we were taught field of fire and trigger discipline. This guy gets a zero on both.
He also shot someone (I’m 99% sure he fired out of fear and confusion) without determining if she was a threat.
If an unarmed petite white woman puts him in fear for his life, he’s got no business being a cop.
