What is the Army Reg for writing SOP's? Could someone point me in the right direction to get one started?

Good God, Man. Do NOT reinvent the wheel! Ask for specifics from your Higher HQ's. They should have a template.

What are you writing it on? Cause it could have very well be already written up already.

It should mirror you next higher echelon's SOP. Your best bet in "writing" a new one is get it from someone else, make it your own, and send it up for review. BTW, be prepared for someone else to take the credit for it.

If you haven't completed SSD2 yet there's a section of it dedicated to writing SOPs.
