What is the Army uniform protocol for a graduation ceremony? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-army-uniform-protocol-for-a-graduation-ceremony <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have a buddy that is a prior Marine that transitioned to the NG(recruiter). He recently completed Recruiting School in Arkansas. He was showing the photos from the graduation ceremony and I noticed that everyone was wearing their dress uniform everyone except the LTC. he was in his cammies ..initially I was like wtf. I don&#39;t know the regulations from the Army(NG) and moreover it could be officer prerogative. I wanted to asked the crowd to see what everyone else thought. Or was he just there in attendance? I would expect that if he was in the official party that he would have been in his dress uniform like everyone else unless there were extenuating circumstances such as he had been travelling and literally got off the plane/helo and drove straight to the ceremony. I can think of several excuses for not wearing a dress uniform, but none of them actually hold water. If the LTC was the senior officer present, he should have respected the graduates enough to dress for the occasion. I would have. If he/she is in The same unit, he/she should follow the guidelines. If he is a guest he should wear what the invitations indicated. Thank you for your service.
