We each have our strengths and weaknesses but let me just leave this right here..... ;)

But on a more serious note, at the end of the day we are one big family. We can pick on each other but no one better try and pick on our own. I once read a story (and now it is going to bug me because I cannot find it) but it took all the branches and made them into siblings in one family. It broke down the different personalities of each branch and it was so funny because it was so true. However, the take away was that we all make each other better in the end and that we ARE all apart of something bigger and better than ourselves. What I would say is that there are definite differences in the lives and lifestyle you lead depending on the service you choose.

All in all though, this type of arguing is pointless. We all have different missions and they each of strengths and weaknesses. This is true some are better at certain missions than others. Each service can do something better than the others, and all of them can do something (at least one thing) better than mine. But one organization has no unique function: The Marine Corps. The army can and has conducted amphibious landings, expeditionary and light infantry combat. The navy can conduct amphibious special operations. The Air Force can conduct close air support. But we do it better. Everything we do, we do better than anyone else. If we didn't we would cease to exist because we would not be wanted.

Or, put another way by Gen Krulak:
“The United States does not need a Marine Corps mainly because she has a fine modern Army and a vigorous Air Force. .  .  .
