But I've learned more than I could ever imagine. Raw command terminals, linux, software and development, hardware, networks, advanced security measures, troubleshooting, tools (veracrypt, cc cleaner, etc), scripting, data mining, loottss of Python, ethical hacking, virtual machines, and a complex understanding of every topic just listed. Teachers give you projects they know you will fail in and they never assist you because "in the real world, no one had the answers." But it was great. I am also studying Cyber Security at University of Michigan. I have nothing to brag about from there, yet. But if you consider Ferris, I highly suggest you keep your service a secret as my car had been vandalized with a US Army sticker on the back windshield, student organizations expelled me because they refused to cound drill as excused absences from meetings (Kappa Kappa Psi), and I've even been spat on. Some really really other bad things happened to me and there's a canpus police investigation going on but they aren't taking it seriously because it "doesn't happen to men" and "it's hard to believe it could happen to an off duty soldier."

So to answer your question. Ferris has made me an elite, and I struggle to hide my confidence. But I had no life during the semesters and I have had terrible, terrible experiences there. They re spending money to target Service Members, and probably have programs and assistance better suited. I am looking at a CSUGlobal.edu ad right now as I am typing this... That being said, I had a sailor that worked for me who was a Gov't white hat hacker who learned it all on his own, and told me that by the time it gets to a textbook, it is already out of date. Not to discourage school, but that it is the 1st step and there is a lot of continuing education afterwords. Best of luck!
