I was recently asked to represent my company in the lower enlisted category for the Best Warrior Competition. What exactly is it? What events are there? How can I prepare? It may vary from unit to unit but generally what should I expect? What are the members of the board looking for? Any help would be great!

A lot of these competitions are modeled after the Best Ranger. The Army realized that when you compete to show your skills and talent you will push others to try also. They also have the Best Sapper now also. I applaud anyone to tries any of these.

PFC Mullins, Mock Boards are a great way to help prepare yourself. Ask your NCOs if they can assist you in this part. For the APFT portion just continue to push yourself everyday. make sure you know all of you Warrior task and battle drills.
