Look through a few of the 35T forums, gratisexam.com is a website that is recommended. As I see other methods the 35T are using to study, I will post here for you.

Invest in the TestOut LabSim. It was a part of my college courses for Cybersecurity and it helped me ace my CompTIA Security+ exam.

Use at least 2 (TWO) sources to study from. Finish them both completely. Usually, videos are the the easy first one to do so you can fly through a book faster after. The book with cement it in your mind better.

Also, Don't be afraid to spend money on a book. People looking for free shit online and then spending a shit ton of money on shoes or a car or makeup or some shit just blows my mind. Spend money on things that help you make money. (sorry for the personal rant.)|

I got ready by doing the Sec+ pocket prep app, this website they gave us in the school house to help memorize ports, if anyone has that I would greatly appreciate it, and by studying with my friends just asking each other questions over and over

I would complete A+ first you haven't already. It is suggested you do A+, Net+, and Sec+ in that order, and IT Fundamentals if you have absolutely no idea what a computer is. The reason for that order is because each preceding cert builds on to the next one (i.e Net+ will build on what you previously learned in A+, but will go more in depth of things like Ports/Protocols.)
But of course Skill Port would be the most obvious answer, not the easiest but it is more in depth. It will be the " SY0-501 CompTIA Security+ " course.
I also suggest talking with others who have completed the course and they may be able to tell you specifically the hard hitting items, and/or give you the training material used in the class (i.e Books, PDFs, Notes, etc). If you don't know anyone that has completed the course, go to your units S6, or other related Intel shop, and ask around because there's a high chance at least one has been through all that.
