Getting my B.S. in psychology and want to go on to graduate school to get my master's of social work. What should I branch? does it even matter? What component is best? ( I'm already in the army national guard). Are there any programs available to help me pay for graduate school? Especially interested in potentially staying with the guard.

The Army's MSW program is by far the best option. I went through the program and we had 2 Guard members in our class. From what I understand, your state has to actually pay for it unlike the rest of us that uncle Sam paid for. So, you will have to have a slot and need for 73A in your unit/state

CPT (Join to see)
SPC (Join to see) it's quite competitive but it's nothing you can't "game plan" for. Google "Army MSW MILPA message" read the most recent one and start doing things that will make you attractive for the program. Behavioral Health Techs are the best enlisted Soldiers that the program is suited for. But anyone else can make themselves look good for it

How about a Human Intelligence collector? I have studied the MILPER Message through and through. Can I pick your brain about the application process?
