What is the best way to get a new uniform (OCP) with name and rank sewn on?

Is there a good website where I can order it already sewn on? Is it better to buy at at PX and take to the alterations shop? I'm in Austin, so the PX and alterations shop are not quite what you have at large installations.

1LT Private RallyPoint Member best of luck in your mission. When I was on Active Duty, there were Uniform stores on Post and I had a sewing machine and know how to see. Many of my male friends took their uniforms to a seamstress recommended by the Post.

An option: Fort Sam Houston (San Antonio) is (roughly) only an hour away. Randolph AFB is even closer to Austin, as well.

I've had good results with regular civilian alterations shops away from bases so long as you can either bring them an example or if they are one for one swapping something such as removing Velcro and adding name tapes.
