Apparently the Army does not recognize the Navy's Hospital Corps School, Field Medical Service School, Independent Duty Corpsman School, and Aviation Medicine Specialist School. It took almost a year for my credentials to be verified and accepted. I basically had to learn everything all over again. I switched from the marines so no basic training however I wish there was a transition process. As a NG member it took me maybe a month to finish the process to go active duty. but all of my higher ups were family friends and so my paperwork was fast. a friend of mine is still trying to go active from the guard and it has been over a year.
