1LT Private RallyPoint Member 8149268 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know someone years ago asked this question, but I&#39;d like to get ask it again myself. I am a 2LT who just graduated MIBOLC, expected day to rank up to 1LT is 11MAR. After working with a USACAPOC(A) recruiter, I was accepted to join a CA BDE and branch transfer to 38A. Still waiting on my current unit to sign off on the transfer, but I was curious about what to expect when it comes to the training that I will go through. I know I&#39;d have to go to the CA Captain&#39;s Career Course before heading to Airborne and other schools, but Airborne school is one of my lifelong goals. Any insight the community can give me on what the training timeline and description is like would be appreciated, as well as any Civil Affairs member who wish to describe their time in Civil Affairs. Looking forward to what is in stored. Thank you! What is the Civil Affairs training pipeline for Junior Officers in the Army Reserves? 2023-02-23T12:39:50-05:00 1LT Private RallyPoint Member 8149268 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know someone years ago asked this question, but I&#39;d like to get ask it again myself. Send me an email in Global. I&#39;m the only Thomas P Livingston in there. From there, I can put you in touch with the 1SG for the CA unit at the deployed assignment I am currently at. Are you wanting to go active duty or reserve? I don’t know how it works for reservists, I was on on active duty when I was recruited by Civil Affairs, PSYOPS, and Special OPS. You had to take the DLAB for language proficiency. I started at airborne at Fort Benning and then to training at Fort Bragg at JFK Special Operations School. You will be evaluated as soon as you arrive, on your mental, physical, leadership, ability to work as a team. If I was you I would start cross training now. You will need to use not only your military experience but your life experience. I would not put on to much weight by over training in the weight room, try to be well rounded in your physical training and a strong swimmer. You really want to be a jack of all trades. A type personality is what I think they are looking for so if you are not a vocal person you may want to work on that. They are going to test your limits so be prepared. That’s all I can tell you.
